Job Summary
The Mechanical Site Engineer supervises and executes mechanical works at site.
The role ensures HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure execution follows approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other MEP disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure smooth progress.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and daily site productivity.
- Conduct inspections and pressure testing and support testing and commissioning activities.
- Liaise with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, and local authority regulations.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in MEP mechanical construction projects.
- Experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects is preferred.
