Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer (MID-LEVEL)

About The Role

Mep Design & Engineering

• Design and develop Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Prepare detailed MEP layouts, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Design HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, and plumbing systems.
• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate MEP services for luxury villas, swimming pools, lagoons, and specialized facilities.

Site Coordination & Supervision

• Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation works.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Resolve technical issues during construction.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority requirements.

Coordination & Documentation

• Prepare technical reports and material submittals.
• Review RFIs, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Ensure clash-free coordination using BIM workflows.

Codes & Standards

• Strong knowledge of international standards, including:
• ASHRAE
• SMACNA
• NFPA
• IEC
• DEWA Regulations

• Strong design and technical coordination skills.

• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Technical Experience

• Experience in luxury villas and hospitality projects.
• Knowledge of waterfront developments and lagoon projects.
• Experience with district cooling systems.
• Energy-efficient and sustainable MEP design experience.
• Familiarity with LEED or Green Building standards.

Bim & Digital Skills

• Advanced Revit MEP experience.
• BIM coordination using Navisworks.
• BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud experience.
• Clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with international or multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• **3–5 years of experience**
• in MEP design and site coordination.
• Proven experience delivering residential, industrial, and luxury building projects.
• Strong understanding of international MEP codes and engineering best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
