About The Role

Technical Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and revise detailed technical drawings, construction documents, layouts, and joinery details.
• Produce accurate CAD documentation for tender, authority submission, and construction phases.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Support project teams with material selection, finishes, and detailing solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
• Maintain project documentation, drawing registers, and revision records.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, building codes, UAE regulations, and project quality benchmarks.
• Assist in project coordination from concept development through construction completion.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Interior Designer, preferably within luxury residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing production.
• Experience coordinating with engineering disciplines and understanding MEP requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC building codes, regulations, and industry standards is preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to design quality.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, 3D modeling, rendering software, or BIM platforms is an added advantage.
