Role overview

Stores and material handling

• Ensure stores function efficiently under company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Receive materials and ensure offloading at the correct location.
• Inspect materials against documentation, specifications, and test certificates; report damage, incorrect items, or under- or oversupply.
• Mark materials and supervise stacking, binning, and preservation according to vendor recommendations and client specifications.

Inventory and dispatch

• Forward completed documentation for ERP entry and arrange materials for QC and client inspection under RFI requirements.
• Issue materials against approved demand vouchers and arrange dispatch.
• Receive and inspect returned materials for reconciliation.
• Prepare reports and conduct regular stock checks and reconciliation, including after project completion.

Qualifications and experience

• Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent, plus at least 5 years of related experience in similar industries; alternatively, a related diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of related experience in similar industries.

Health, safety, and equipment

• Comply with HSE regulations and use appropriate tools, equipment, and protective clothing when handling materials.
• Report known workplace hazards or violations to a supervisor and do not remove or disable required protective devices.
