Role overview

Compliance program and investigations

• Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise program policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
• Develop and periodically update Standards of Conduct for management and employees.
• Implement initiatives to foster an ethical culture.
• Conduct independent investigations as advised.
• Coordinate with Risk Management, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and other departments to direct issues to appropriate investigation and resolution channels.
• Evaluate alleged violations, recommend investigative procedures, and report to the Ethics and Compliance Team Leader.
• Develop and oversee uniform handling of violations.
• Help ensure compliance concerns are evaluated, investigated, and resolved appropriately.

Communications and governance

• Maintain compliance communications, promote use of the Compliance Hotline, and raise awareness of standards, issues, and policies.
• Assist with Corporate Governance Reports, manuals, and other departmental or audit committee reports as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
• At least five years of related work experience in similar industries.
• Professional certifications including CFE, CCEP, CIA, CCRP, ICSI, or equivalent are referred.
