Responsibilities
- Grow app downloads, sign-ups, and active students against monthly targets.
- Plan and run campus activations, events, and stands at Oman's universities and colleges.
- Build and manage a student ambassador programme from scratch.
- Run co-marketing campaigns with partner brands to drive redemptions.
- Brief the central content creator on local needs and arrange on-the-ground content creation.
- Manage local social activity and community engagement for the Omani audience.
- Track campaign results, report what works, and identify changes to make.
- Build relationships with university student clubs, societies, and staff.
Candidate requirements
- 1–4 years in marketing, ideally in growth, community, field, or student marketing.
- Experience running events, activations, or ambassador programmes.
- Comfortable with targets and numbers, including identifying which channels brought in users.
- Good knowledge of Oman's universities and student culture.
- Self-driven and comfortable building from zero in a new market.
- Confident building relationships with students, universities, and brands.
Preferred experience and languages
- Startup, consumer app, or brand launch experience is a plus.
- Performance or social media marketing tools experience is a plus.
- Fluent Arabic and English is a plus.
