Role overview
Lead strategic and daily fulfillment-center operations to uphold standards for safety, quality, and high-speed productivity.
Operations and leadership
- Oversee facility workflows from inbound receiving to hyper-local outbound dispatch.
- Analyze real-time performance data, optimize labor deployment, and achieve delivery targets.
- Lead large-scale process improvement initiatives to scale operations.
- Lead Assistant Managers and Warehouse Associates responsible for B2B orders.
- Ensure the team is trained, equipped, and supported; mentor junior leaders and foster a culture of speed and precision.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
- Proven direct management experience, including responsibility for employee performance.
- Flexibility to regularly work weekends and/or overnight shifts.
- At least 6 years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement methodologies, or Lean techniques such as Six Sigma or Kaizen.
- Experience in a high-volume setting such as retail, e-commerce, or logistics.
- Extensive experience defining, implementing, and managing performance metrics and process improvement strategies.
- Ability to lead a large, diverse team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Physical requirements
- The role involves physical activity within the fulfillment center, including regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
- Requires frequent walking, continuous standing and/or walking for a full shift, and safe access to all building areas, including ladders, stairs, and gangways.
