Role overview

Own cargo revenue for an assigned area and lead Revenue Analysts to optimize the portfolio and maximize freighter, belly, and RFS utilization.

Partner with Network Planning, Commercial, Operations, and Pricing to align actions with strategy.

Drive rollout of the new revenue management system and refine revenue management frameworks such as SCB and Entry Conditions.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop Revenue Analysts managing a regional route portfolio; monitor portfolio KPIs, including LF and SCB, and drive improvement.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones and team reviews to validate strategies and reinforce contribution-based steering; act as first escalation point for performance issues and capacity conflicts.
  • Oversee capacity utilization, allocation strategy, demand steering, disruption recovery, and contribution across the area.
  • Review Entry Conditions before flight openings and monitor booking trends after launch; coordinate with Pricing to reflect market dynamics.
  • Align with Network Planning on capacity changes and business cases, providing recommendations from demand and contribution forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Operations to align FBLs to constraints, minimize offloads, and support FAP performance.
  • Partner with Commercial to identify revenue opportunities and address customer needs.
  • Lead revenue management system rollout, training, and adoption; recommend improvements to user experience and workflow integration.
  • Support strategic initiatives, seasonal planning, process improvements, analytics dashboard enhancements, and reporting needs.
  • Contribute weekly performance highlights, monthly business reviews, and ongoing steering and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, or another numerate discipline, or equivalent professional experience in Inventory or Revenue Management.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the airline industry; at least 3 years in Cargo Revenue Management is ideal.
