Machine Learning Engineer 1 role in noon’s Ads division; the role is a hands-on individual contributor position.
Build and deploy production-grade models for functions including advertising ranking, bidding, and click-fraud detection.
What you’ll do
- Build, train, and deploy machine-learning models across the Ads division.
- Address relevance, ranking, bidding optimization, and fraud-detection problems.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to turn complex data into competitive advantages.
- Help implement deployment strategies for heavy machine-learning workloads.
- Follow and contribute to MLOps standards and team best practices.
What you’ll need
- Strong academic or practical grounding in machine learning, statistics, and data structures.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with standard ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Hands-on machine-learning or data-science experience, or relevant internships, is preferred.
- Willingness to learn from senior engineers, collaborate across teams, and develop MLOps practices.
- Basic exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP and data-processing pipelines.
