Overview

  • The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
  • Receive, count, and record soiled linen.
  • Issue cleaned linen based on requisition or par level.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen distribution, usage, and stock levels.
  • Track lost or damaged linen and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with quarterly linen inventories and identify replacement needs.
  • Spot-check linens for stains or tears before distribution.
  • Ensure proper storage of linen to prevent damage.
  • Liaise with Food & Beverage staff to understand linen needs and resolve issues.
  • Report misuse of linens (e.g., using napkins for cleaning) to Administration Manager.
  • Facilitate sanitation in the Food & Beverage linen room.
  • Assist with checking, receiving, and storing goods and linen.
  • Maintain neat and tidy storage areas at all times.
  • Clean the Food & Beverage linen room and equipment during shift breakdowns.
  • Attend scheduled training sessions without fail.
  • Follow House Rules, Health and Safety, and grooming standards.
  • Adhere to departmental and hotel Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid, fire, and emergency procedures.
  • Operate equipment safely and sensibly.
  • Report malfunctioning equipment and notify Administration Manager promptly.
  • Log daily linen issuance records.
  • Participate in daily briefings and share relevant updates with the team.
  • Interact professionally and positively with team members, management, and contractors.
  • Attend departmental and inter-departmental meetings and share relevant information.
  • Foster strong relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective multicultural communication.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain a well-mannered, well-groomed, and hygienic appearance at all times.
  • Follow health and safety standards and strive for continuous improvement to prevent hazards.
  • Participate in the company recycling program and follow strict discipline to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
