The role is part of the flexible bank team, allowing staff to tailor their schedules while remaining valued team members.
Responsibilities
- Help residents remain active and independent.
- Identify individual resident goals and implement personalised activity plans.
- Support residents with new interests, physical activities, and enjoyable experiences.
- Work with families, residents, and local communities to create meaningful experiences.
- Use creativity, flexibility, commitment, and initiative to meet diverse interests.
Candidate profile
- Applicants should have a strong desire to help people and put residents at the centre of their work.
- A caring, passionate, team-oriented, mature, and sensible approach is expected.
- The role requires commitment, initiative, and creative thinking.
Care setting
- The role is based at Echelforde, a purpose-designed care home in Ashford, Surrey.
- The home provides residential, respite, and day care, including specialist support for older people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
- The home includes a day club offering activities to residents and local day guests.
