Overview

Key Responsibilitiespool Safety & Supervision

• Monitor pool activities continuously to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
• Enforce pool rules, regulations, and facility policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain constant vigilance and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Administer first aid, CPR, and water rescues when required.
• Inspect and ensure all lifesaving and emergency equipment is functional and readily available.

Facility Maintenance & Operations

• Perform routine inspections of the pool, deck areas, and related facilities.
• Monitor and test water quality, including chlorine and pH levels, and report any irregularities.
• Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in pool areas, changing rooms, showers, and equipment storage spaces.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Customer Service

• Welcome members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide guidance on pool safety practices and proper swimming etiquette.
• Respond to member inquiries and concerns courteously and efficiently.
• Report incidents, hazards, and operational issues to the Operations Supervisor.

Compliance & Safety Standards

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and emergency preparedness activities as required.

Requirementseducation & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Lifeguard Certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Lifeguard, preferably in a fitness club, hotel, resort, or recreational facility.
