Guest-facing lifeguard role supporting safe and smooth delivery of attraction experiences.
Responsibilities
- Monitor water, respond to emergencies, and safeguard guests, colleagues, and contractors.
- Operate rides and attractions, follow dispatch and safety procedures, and give guests clear directions.
- Maintain rescue and basic life support competencies and attend ongoing training.
- Move park furniture, ride vehicles, and equipment as needed.
- Work at heights, in water, outdoors, and in extreme temperatures year-round; shifts may include nights, evenings, and holidays.
Job essentials
- Corrected or uncorrected 20/25 vision.
- Swim 50 meters continuously using front crawl or breaststroke.
- Swim underwater for 3 meters at a depth of 1.4 meters and retrieve a 10-pound brick.
- Maintain test-ready lifeguard skills in accordance with the International Lifeguard Training Program.
- Basic spoken English proficiency.
Desirable qualifications
- International Lifeguard Training Program or similar experience, swimming experience, or prior lifeguard experience.
- UAE driver's or buggy license, SCUBA certification, or previous guest service experience.
- Swim 200 meters continuously, retrieve a 10-pound brick from 5 meters, or tread water for 2 minutes without using arms.
- Intermediate or better English or basic spoken Arabic.
