Job Summary
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training and development programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and organizational capability.
The role focuses on identifying learning needs, delivering impactful learning solutions, and supporting continuous professional development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development requirements across departments
- Design and develop engaging learning programs, workshops, and training materials (online and classroom-based)
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, including onboarding, soft skills, leadership, and functional training
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business objectives
- Manage external training vendors, consultants, and learning platforms where required
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
- Maintain training records, reports, and learning management systems (LMS)
- Support career development frameworks, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in learning and development
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or HR roles
- Strong experience in instructional design and training delivery
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
- Certification in L&D (e.g., CIPD, ATD) is an advantage
