Job Summary

The City Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and administration of employee accommodation facilities, ensuring the welfare, safety, and comfort of camp residents.

The role oversees camp operations, housekeeping, catering, maintenance, security, transportation, and compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and labor accommodation standards.

Camp Operations & Administration

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of labor camps and staff accommodation facilities.
  • Ensure camp facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and hygienic condition.
  • Maintain camp occupancy records, room allocations, and employee accommodation databases.
  • Coordinate employee check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Monitor camp resources and ensure effective utilization of facilities.

Accommodation Management

  • Allocate rooms and accommodation facilities in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure accommodation standards are maintained.
  • Address resident concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor accommodation regulations and company standards.

Catering & Food Services

  • Supervise catering contractors and food service providers.
  • Ensure the quality, hygiene, and timely delivery of meals.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining facilities.
  • Monitor food inventory and consumption patterns.

Housekeeping & Maintenance

  • Oversee housekeeping operations and cleaning staff.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with facility management teams.
  • Ensure all utilities, including water, electricity, air conditioning, and sanitation systems, are fully operational.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and monitor service quality.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, camp regulations, and local authority requirements.
  • Conduct regular health, hygiene, and safety inspections.
  • Report and address unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Support emergency preparedness plans and evacuation procedures.

Security & Welfare

  • Coordinate with security personnel to maintain camp safety, discipline, and order.
  • Ensure camp rules and regulations are followed by all residents.
  • Promote employee welfare and address accommodation-related concerns.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and recreational activities where applicable.

Transportation Coordination

  • Coordinate transportation schedules between camps and work sites.
  • Monitor vehicle utilization and transportation service providers.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient movement of camp residents.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly camp operations reports.
  • Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, incidents, and complaints.
  • Track camp-related expenses and support budget control activities.
  • Liaise with HR, Administration, Operations, and HSE departments on camp-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum
  • 5–8 years of experience
  • in camp administration, facilities management, labor accommodation management, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing large labor camps, preferably within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE labor accommodation standards and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of camp operations, employee welfare, health & safety, and contractor management
