Structural engineering leadership

• Lead structural engineering teams across projects and allocate activities according to priorities, workload, and competence.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and support; monitor productivity, deliverable progress, milestones, and resource needs.
• Establish consistent design standards and maintain quality, safety, and documentation standards.
• Support recruitment and technical assessments and promote team competency development.
• Lead technical discussions, resolve complex issues, and guide structural systems, materials, analysis methods, and constructability.

Structural design and analysis

• Oversee structural design for buildings, infrastructure, and associated developments from concept and feasibility through detailed design.
• Cover structural system selection, design criteria, preliminary and developed designs, foundations, superstructures, and applicable structural materials and systems.
• Address retaining, basement, underground, roof, external, temporary and permanent works, strengthening, seismic and wind design, durability, fire resistance, and constructability as applicable.
• Ensure development, checking, and review of analysis models, calculations, reports, loads, stability, foundation and soil-structure analysis, concrete and steel design, and connection design.
• Coordinate framing and foundation plans, layouts, elevations, sections, details, reinforcement and fabrication drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, tender documents, and authority submissions.
• Ensure structural documentation is coordinated, technically accurate, checked, and suitable for the project stage.
