The description identifies the role as a Network Ops Lead and focuses on cloud networking across Azure and GCP.
Required experience and networking expertise
- At least 8 years of experience in Azure and GCP cloud technologies.
- Hands-on Azure and GCP networking experience with VNets, load balancers, Azure NSGs, and GCP VPC firewalls.
- Understand private and public endpoints, VPN service gateways, ExpressRoute gateways, and site-to-site VPNs.
- Have hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls.
- Have working knowledge of F5 network load balancers.
- Know routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF and cloud connectivity including Azure ExpressRoute, OCI FastConnect, and GCP Direct Connect.
Additional beneficial expertise
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Virtual Cloud Network, FastConnect, and Network Firewall is an additional benefit.
Responsibilities
- Lead network operations involving Azure and GCP cloud networking.
- Work hands-on with cloud virtual networks, load balancers, network security groups, and VPC firewalls.
- Support cloud connectivity using endpoints, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, FastConnect, and Direct Connect.
- Work with network firewalls, load balancers, and routing protocols.
