General Responsibilities
- **Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems**
- Follow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.
- Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
- **Reporting**
- Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.
- Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
- Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans that align with the operational goals and business strategy.
- Monitor procurement performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, delivery times, and supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure procurement planning aligns with inventory levels, production schedules, and business needs.
- Identify potential risks within procurement processes and supply chain activities, developing contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Drive initiatives to improve supplier performance, ensuring suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Implement cost-saving measures across procurement activities, identifying areas where efficiency can be improved without compromising quality or service.
- Utilize data analytics to track procurement performance and provide actionable insights to senior management, ensuring decision-making is based on accurate, real-time data.
- Work with the procurement excellence team to implement strategies that optimize sourcing, procurement cycles, and contract management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement needs, ensuring adequate resources are allocated to meet operational requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement planning meets their needs and supports business continuity.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 6 years of relevant working experience
