Lead, Applications & Solutions Architecture

Overview

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design of enterprise application and solution architectures across business, digital, operational, and enterprise platforms
• Design scalable solutions across applications, APIs, middleware, SaaS, cloud-native services, and IT/OT systems
• Apply modern architecture approaches: microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native design
• Translate business needs into practical, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions
• Drive architecture implementation and ensure alignment with performance, scalability, and resiliency standards
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and governance checkpoints
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory standards, and enterprise policies
• Support vendor selection, RFP/RFI evaluations, and solution fit-gap analysis
• Define reusable patterns, integration standards, and reference architectures
• Lead application modernization, lifecycle management, and technical debt optimization
• Maintain architecture documentation, application inventories, and target-state roadmaps

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Application, Solution, or Enterprise Architecture
• Strong experience in enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, cloud, and SaaS ecosystems
• Hands-on expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud-native solutions, and DevSecOps
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, API management, security, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, Kubernetes, containerization, and platform engineering
• Ability to evaluate solutions considering scalability, cost (TCO), and operational efficiency
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with EA tools such as HOPEX, LeanIX, or Bizzdesign
• Nice to Have

• Certifications: TOGAF, Cloud, Integration, Solution Architecture

• Experience in Utilities, Energy, Smart Infrastructure, or OT environments
• Exposure to low-code platforms, SaaS ecosystems, and enterprise digital transformation programs
