Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise civil, structural, and associated work and assigned discipline staff.
- Coordinate project issues, technical matters, resources, progress, and performance with managers and project counterparts.
- Review drawings, design proposals, method statements, and RFIs for quality and technical correctness.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, authorities, and other disciplines; chair team meetings and facilitate correspondence and approvals.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and team diaries; measure work and track progress against programme.
- Provide on-site direction and work instructions, and oversee safety procedures and risk-management compliance.
- Support sales enquiries and bidding through estimation and related technical input.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- At least 15 years of Oil & Gas experience and at least 8 years in a lead role.
- Communication, leadership, coordination, analytical, and proactive capabilities in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
- Fluent English; UAE local experience is an added value.
- Willingness to handle project pressure, extensive site surveys, and local and overseas multidisciplinary projects.
