Our client is a highly regarded, design-led consultancy delivering innovative architecture and interior solutions across workplace, hospitality, and residential sectors.
With a strong portfolio of high-profile projects, they are looking to appoint a Lead Architect – Design to drive creative excellence across the business.
Role Overview
This is a senior, design-focused leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the creative vision across multiple projects.
The Lead Architect – Design will take ownership of early-stage design, lead client presentations, and guide and lead internal teams to deliver innovative, high-quality concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design direction across multiple projects from concept through design development
- Develop and present compelling design concepts, narratives, and visual presentations to clients
- Translate client briefs into creative, commercially viable design solutions
- Act as the primary design authority and key client-facing representative
- Mentor and guide architects and designers, fostering a strong creative culture
- Review and oversee design output to ensure quality, consistency, and innovation
- Collaborate with interior design, technical, and delivery teams to maintain design intent
- Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and global design benchmarks
Key Requirements
- 8–15+ years of experience in architecture, with a strong focus on design
- Proven track record in leading concept design on high-profile projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing concept-driven, design-led work (across multiple sectors preferred)
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and clients
- Proficiency in design tools (Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Prior experience in leading and managing Teams
