Mid-Weight Interior Designer – Residential & Mixed-Use Projects

📍 Dubai, UAE

💼 Full-Time

Our client, a well-established design consultancy in Dubai, is looking to hire a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a creative and technically strong designer with proven experience delivering high-end residential and mixed-use projects from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative interior design concepts and translate them into compelling presentations and design schemes.
  • Produce space planning, mood boards, material palettes, FF&E selections, and detailed design packages.
  • Prepare concept presentations, design reports, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate and develop design documentation, including layouts, elevations, sections, and detailing packages.
  • Work closely with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Participate in client meetings and present design ideas confidently and professionally.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors during project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with design intent, timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, finishes, and innovative design solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Approximately 4–7 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of residential and mixed-use projects.
  • Experience working within a design consultancy environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong conceptual design, space planning, and FF&E capabilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Revit and rendering software would be advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
