Key Responsibilities

• :
• Develop detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and shop drawings for interior fit-out and design-build projects.
• Translate concept designs into accurate technical documentation suitable for construction and authority submissions.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, project managers, MEP consultants, and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project delivery.
• Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and construction details.
• Review design drawings and specifications to identify potential coordination issues before construction.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations, authority requirements, building codes, and project specifications.
• Support the project team during tender, procurement, and construction stages by providing technical solutions and clarifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers to ensure technical accuracy and buildability.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions, monitor design implementation, and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure all revisions are properly documented and issued.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Designer role within the UAE, preferably with a Design & Build contractor or fit-out company.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, joinery, materials, and fit-out methodologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, and other design software is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and construction standards.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
