Senior Interior Designer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of residential and mixed-use projects from concept development through to project completion.
• Develop innovative and high-quality design concepts that align with client requirements and project objectives.
• Prepare and oversee concept presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and design narratives.
• Direct space planning, design development, and FF&E selection and specification.
• Produce and review detailed design documentation, including layouts, elevations, sections, and interior detailing packages.
• Lead client presentations and act as the primary design point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits and oversee the implementation of designs to ensure adherence to the design intent and quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups during the construction phase.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level designers, fostering collaboration and design excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices to drive innovative design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 8–12 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on residential and mixed-use projects.
• Proven experience working within a design consultancy environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently from concept design through to site execution.
• Strong conceptual design, space planning, technical detailing, and FF&E expertise.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Experience

• with Revit and rendering software is advantageous.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring and managing design teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
