Landscape Projects Engineer

Role overview

Project delivery and compliance

• Plan and coordinate landscaping projects from concept and estimation through proposals, site management, and completion.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality; ensure company standards and UAE regulatory requirements are met.
• Lead project teams, contractors, and subcontractors; coordinate tasks and attend client progress meetings.
• Obtain and manage approvals and permits from RTA, Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, environmental regulations, design requirements, and safety standards; stay current on regulations and best practices.

Technical, team, and client responsibilities

• Oversee swimming pool design, construction, and maintenance; horticulture, softscape, planting, and care; irrigation; civil and MEP works; and hardscape works.
• Coordinate site preparation, grading, drainage, infrastructure, paving, retaining walls, pergolas, and outdoor structures.
• Lead and mentor project and maintenance teams, foster safety and efficiency, conduct performance evaluations, and implement training.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities; address concerns and provide timely project updates.
• Prepare reports on project progress, budgets, and maintenance activities; maintain communication with internal teams, clients, and authorities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of landscaping project and maintenance experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing approvals with named UAE authorities and other relevant authorities.
• Strong leadership, team management, project management, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong technical knowledge across landscaping, swimming pools, irrigation, civil and MEP works, hardscape, and softscape.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, or equivalent project management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP certification is a plus.
