Landscape Engineering Manager
About This Role
Job Purpose The Landscape Engineering Manager is responsible for managing landscape operations, projects, and assets to ensure high-quality delivery, sustainability, safety, and cost efficiency across assigned sites. The role oversees service delivery, client relationships, contractor performance, and continuous improvement of landscape systems and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of landscape maintenance and enhancement services including horticulture, irrigation systems, pest control, and hardscape works.
- Ensure landscape assets meet aesthetic, functional, sustainability, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for irrigation networks, planting, turf, and related infrastructure.
- Drive water optimization, smart irrigation practices, and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage client relationships through regular communication, reporting, and proactive issue resolution.
- Review landscape designs, technical submissions, and support value engineering and improvement projects.
- Manage third-party contractors, suppliers, and in-house landscape teams.
- Control budgets, forecasts, procurement, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, and local authority regulations.
- Prepare operational and performance reports and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Engineering, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications in irrigation or project management preferred.
- Valid UAE Driver’s License.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in landscape engineering, operations, or project delivery.
- Strong experience in irrigation systems, horticulture, water management, and contractor supervision.
- UAE / GCC experience preferred.
