Job Purpose

To inspect, monitor and verify the quality of facilities management services, maintenance activities, materials, and workmanship across operational sites, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, company quality standards, statutory regulations, health and safety requirements, and client expectations.

The QA Inspector supports continuous improvement initiatives by conducting quality inspections, identifying non-conformities and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented to maintain service excellence and operational compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and planned quality inspections of Hard Services, Soft Services, Specialized Services, Civil, ICT and subcontractor activities to verify compliance with approved procedures, specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Inspect completed maintenance works, preventive maintenance activities, projects and service deliveries to ensure workmanship meets required quality standards and client expectations.
  • Monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), quality objectives and operational procedures across all facilities management functions.
  • Identify, document and report non-conformities, defects, service deficiencies and quality-related issues, ensuring timely escalation to relevant supervisors and management.
  • Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from audits, inspections, client complaints, incidents and non-conformance reports.

  • Review maintenance records, inspection checklists, permits, testing certificates, calibration records and quality documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Monitor the quality of materials, equipment and consumables used in maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure conformity with approved specifications.
  • Participate in client inspections, site walks, quality reviews and operational performance assessments as required.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing quality records, inspection reports, compliance evidence and corrective action documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, trend analyses and performance statistics to support management reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Facilities Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, HSE personnel and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and improve service delivery standards.
  • Investigate recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements, training requirements and preventive measures to enhance operational performance.
  • Promote awareness of quality standards, procedures and best practices among operational teams and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, client requirements, company policies, and internationally recognized quality management standards, including ISO 9001 where applicable.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management.

Certification in ISO standards - QMS preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Construction, or Engineering Services.

Experience

in inspecting Hard Services, Soft Services, Civil, ICT and Specialized Facilities Management operations.

Proven experience in conducting quality inspections, audits, site assessments, and compliance reviews.

Experience

working within FM service contracts, property management, healthcare, hospitality, commercial, residential, or government facilities is preferred.

Familiarity with CAFM systems and digital inspection platforms is an advantage.

Skills

Strong inspection, auditing, and quality assessment skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to identify non-conformities and recommend effective corrective actions.

Strong report writing and documentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to use CAFM systems, inspection software, and digital reporting tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection activities.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams, contractors, clients, and management.

Time management and organizational skills to meet reporting and inspection deadlines.
