Responsibilities
- Keep kitchen and surrounding areas clean, maintained, and organized; operate pot-washing machinery and dishwashers.
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, equipment, dishes, and serviceware according to established procedures.
- Clean floors and walls, sweep, mop, wash surfaces, and empty rubbish bins; keep the waste area tidy.
- Dispose of waste according to outlet and local standards and follow recycling guidelines.
- Wash, wipe, sort, stack, load, unload, and safely store cleaned items; remove chipped or broken items and update the register.
- Check chemical levels and inventory, monitor supplies, and help reduce spoilage and waste.
- Use and maintain equipment according to guidelines; report maintenance or hazards to management.
- Clean and close workstations, follow opening and closing procedures, and assist culinary and service teams as needed.
Role knowledge
- Understand HACCP procedures and sanitation guidelines.
- Know how to operate dishwashers and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Understand cleaning procedures, dishwashing machines, and appropriate chemical use, including safety data sheet information.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,800 per month.
Contract
