Kitchen duties
- Provide efficient hospitality service and work at the station assigned by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
- Organize the work area, put away orders, and prepare food within recommended time frames.
- Operate braising pans, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Prepare and cook food to recipes, specifications, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
- Prepare meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, entrees, sauces, and a la carte items using varied cooking methods.
- Set up the station with par stocks and designated dishes; check supplies and prep lists for timely preparation.
- Replenish service lines, restock, and prepare the workstation for the next shift.
- Store products correctly, check food and appliance temperatures, and serve correct portions to hotel standards.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, workstations, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Minimize waste and maintain controls to meet forecasted food costs.
- Report assistance needs and incidents, review handover actions, assist with on-the-job training, and support other kitchen tasks.
Experience
- Three years of experience as a Commis Chef is required.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,500 per month.

- Work location is in person.
