Job Description
Al Farah Food Store & Gourmet is seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff for its food production and kitchen team in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports daily preparation, production, handling, and packing of food products.
The role requires high standards of hygiene, food safety, quality, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen production.
- Prepare, wash, cut, portion, weigh, and organize ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
- Support chefs and supervisors and follow approved recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures.
- Label, date, store, and organize prepared food and ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, HACCP, FIFO/FEFO, and company procedures.
- Monitor product quality and report damaged, expired, or unsuitable products.
- Pack products for dispatch, minimize food waste, and follow supervisor instructions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen, central kitchen, catering company, restaurant, food production facility, or similar environment is preferred.
- Basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene knowledge is required.
- Candidates must follow recipes and instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Teamwork, communication, discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, and organization are required.
- Candidates must be physically able to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,587.58 to AED 2,975.49 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
