Job responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support to end users and respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, including printer problems.
- Assist users with password resets and account-related problems.
- Install and update operating systems and software applications.
- Configure email accounts and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support Wi-Fi, LAN, and other network connectivity issues.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and asset records.
- Set up new user workstations and IT equipment.
- Replace faulty keyboards, mice, RAM, hard drives, and other components.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Perform routine system maintenance and updates, and document support activities and resolutions.
Required skills and experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet networking fundamentals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, plus strong communication and customer service skills.
- 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, IT support, or help desk roles.
- Fresh graduates with relevant IT qualifications may apply.
Pay
- AED 2,000–3,500 per month.
