Kitchen Staff – Commis / Kitchen Helper / Food Preparation

Al Farah Food Store & Gourmet is looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our food production and kitchen team in Abu Dhabi.

The selected candidates will support the daily preparation, production, handling, and packing of food products while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, quality, and cleanliness.

• Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen production.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Wash, cut, portion, weigh, and organize ingredients.
• Support chefs and supervisors during food preparation and production.
• Follow approved recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures.
• Properly label, date, store, and organize prepared food and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and company procedures at all times.
• Monitor product quality and immediately report any damaged, expired, or unsuitable products.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures when handling food and ingredients.
• Assist with packing and preparation of products for dispatch when required.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
• Follow instructions provided by the Kitchen Supervisor and Management.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties when required.

• Previous experience working in a kitchen, central kitchen, catering company, restaurant, food production facility, or similar environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties.
• Must be disciplined, punctual, clean, and organized.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Pay: AED1,587.58 - AED2,975.49 per month
