Junior Technical Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and requirements to support acoustic design activities.
• Assist with engineering calculations, product selection, and technical evaluations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare technical submittals, product data sheets, compliance documents, and material approval submissions.
• Develop general arrangement, shop, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities based on project drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, and noise assessments to support design and project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports documenting site observations, measurement results, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, Production, and Project teams to support accurate drawings and project execution.
• Provide technical support for product selection, proposals, and project-related engineering requirements.

Skills and Attributes Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of engineering experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of acoustics, sound insulation, noise control, or structural engineering is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools for engineering, drafting, or technical research is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project coordination across the UAE.
