Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated **Junior IT Support Engineer** to provide day-to-day technical support for end users and assist in maintaining IT systems across office and project sites.
The ideal candidate should have basic troubleshooting skills and a strong willingness to learn and grow in IT infrastructure support, especially within a **construction project environment**.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email, and onsite assistance
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (Windows OS, MS Office, printers, laptops)
- Install, configure, and set up desktops, laptops, and standard applications
- Assist in user account setup, password resets, and email configuration
- Support network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, internet access)
- Install and troubleshoot printers and shared devices
- Assist senior IT engineers in system upgrades and maintenance tasks
- Maintain IT inventory and update asset records
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding IT setup
- Document IT issues, solutions, and standard procedures
Basic Networking Support
- Assist in troubleshooting LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Support IP configuration and basic network setup
- Assist in printer sharing and device connectivity
- Escalate advanced network issues to senior IT team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 2–3 years of IT support experience
- *(UAE construction company experience is highly preferred and an added advantage)*
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and hardware troubleshooting
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction project environment
