Junior IT Support (UAE Nationals Only)

About This Role

We are assisting a reputable bank in Abu Dhabi in their search for a motivated and skilled Junior IT Support to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the banking sector, working on diverse IT operations and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including system installation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers and the Bank’s data center to resolve IT system issues (FOVA, SUMMIT, etc.).
• Supervise and implement IT systems, ensuring security and business continuity.
• Plan and manage IT infrastructure, projects and development aligned with the Bank’s strategy.
• Organize testing, training and cross-departmental coordination for IT projects.
• Maintain IT policy compliance, disaster recovery and documentation.
• Supervise the security programs for computer and telecommunication systems and assign access rights to authorized users.
• Oversee project execution in accordance with project plans and organize testing and training sessions for business departments.
• Draft operational and management procedures, conduct regular reviews and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Develop IT system plans (including hardware and software) based on departmental needs analysis and forecasts and maintain comprehensive records of all purchased computer hardware and software.
• Perform administrative functions, including but not limited to procurement of computer media and other IT-related items.
• Formulate IT development plans in alignment with the Head Office’s latest IT strategies.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the bank or person in charge of the department from time to time on the basis of requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong technical knowledge in IT systems, networking and cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic.
• Based in Abu Dhabi, with strong initiative, discipline and ability to work under pressure.
