Junior Architect/Interior Designer

Role overview

Design and documentation

• Assist with design concepts, layouts, and space planning.
• Prepare AutoCAD plans, elevations, sections, and detailed 2D drawings.
• Create 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations for client proposals.
• Develop mood boards, material selections, color schemes, furniture layouts, and design concepts.
• Prepare presentations, project documentation, material specifications, BOQs, and finishing schedules.
• Review drawings for discrepancies and coordination issues.

Coordination and delivery

• Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Conduct site visits and assist in monitoring project progress and design implementation.
• Assist with tender documents, quotations, and technical submissions.
• Follow up on material samples, approvals, and project submissions.
• Source furniture, lighting, fixtures, decorative elements, and materials within project budgets.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Help ensure designs comply with project requirements, quality standards, and applicable building regulations.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and design documentation; research design trends, materials, and solutions.
• Support deadlines and perform other design-related duties assigned by the Senior Architect or Design Manager.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Strong creativity, technical drawing, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A strong portfolio of architectural or interior design projects is preferred.
