We are currently hiring a Junior Accountant – Arabic Speaking for a reputed client in the UAE. This role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to support day-to-day finance operations in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Junior Accountant – Arabic Speaking

Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance Operations

• Assist in day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions
• Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Reporting & Reconciliation

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Support month-end closing activities
• Verify financial data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounting records and audit-ready documentation

Compliance & Coordination

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and documentation
• Support VAT-related documentation and finance operations where required

Administrative Support

• Assist the finance team with administrative and reporting tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information
• Support ad-hoc finance and accounting requirements as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP software
• Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory

Preferred Profile

• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Immediate or short-notice candidates preferred
