Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Junior Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities include supporting accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing basic financial reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
The role also involves coordinating with senior accounting staff, responding to internal queries about financial data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in basic accounting principles, general ledger maintenance, and transaction recording.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, invoice management, and payment tracking.
- Candidates should possess skills in bank and account reconciliation, error detection, and variance analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel) for data entry and reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and maintaining organized financial records.
- Candidates should possess skills in written and verbal communication for collaborating with finance teams and other departments.
