Role Description
This full-time, on-site Construction Foreman role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves overseeing daily construction activities on assigned projects.
The Construction Foreman will coordinate and supervise site crews, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in line with project specifications.
Responsibilities include monitoring quality of workmanship, managing use of materials and equipment, and supporting compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and providing clear direction and feedback to workers.
The Construction Foreman will also assist with progress reporting, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Technical construction skills, including proficiency in Carpentry and familiarity with Civil Engineering concepts relevant to site execution.
- Experience operating or supervising Heavy Equipment use on construction sites, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to perform and enforce Quality Control standards to ensure work meets project specifications and industry best practices.
- Strong Communication skills for coordinating teams, reporting to management, and collaborating with clients and engineering staff.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within construction or related fields.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
