Role overview

Responsibilities

• Track UAE policies, investment plans, and trends in infrastructure, municipal works, roads and bridges, energy, and major projects; identify opportunities created by policy changes.
• Research market size, industry trends, customer needs, and competition, and produce regular market research reports.
• Track major infrastructure projects, government investment plans, and engineering tender information; maintain information on priority projects and potential customers.
• Build a market database and analyze and visualize data on market size, project investment, equipment demand, competitors, and industry operations.
• Monitor competitors in engineering equipment rental and related industries, and prepare competitive analyses and benchmarking recommendations.
• Conduct focused analysis and recommend practical market entry, business expansion, and resource allocation measures.

Requirements and qualifications

• At least three years of market research, industry analysis, or strategic analysis experience in UAE or Gulf engineering infrastructure, construction, construction machinery, equipment rental, or a related industry.
• Strong data collection, cleaning, organization, analysis, and visualization skills; able to independently complete data analysis and research reports.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is required.
• Good English reading, writing, and communication skills are required, including the ability to review English-language policies, industry reports, and project materials independently.
• A bachelor's degree or above is requested; economics, engineering management, civil engineering, finance, statistics, business analysis, or a related major is preferred.
• Familiarity with the UAE infrastructure market and industry ecosystem is preferred.
• Arabic language ability is preferred.
