Service Manager (AWP Machines)

Position summary

Core responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop the service team; lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Design and refine standardized service systems, including response, preventive and corrective maintenance, and customer communication protocols.
• Oversee lifecycle equipment maintenance and use AWP and brand expertise to optimize maintenance strategies, tooling, uptime, and safety.
• Develop technical training and certification programs, using internal and external resources to build team capability and a qualified technician pipeline.
• Coordinate equipment logistics, transportation, and appearance standards; partner with business development to support regional growth.

Qualifications and requirements

• At least 8 years of progressive service management experience in high-rise equipment or the AWP industry.
• In-depth AWP technology and mainstream equipment-brand knowledge, including structural and maintenance principles.
• Experience establishing maintenance systems, spare parts supply chain/logistics, and customer service operations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, process optimization, cross-functional coordination, and cross-cultural team management capabilities.
• Ability to establish standardized workflows; full professional English fluency for business communication, training, and documentation.
• Familiarity with industry training, certification, and licensing schemes; this is not stated as mandatory.
• Training-schedule or qualification-process experience is an advantage; UAE or wider GCC experience is highly preferred.
