Position Summary

ECU-Service LLC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT infrastructure reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to staff via phone, email, and in person
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Support Windows and/or Linux operating systems and common business applications
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory or similar systems
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
• Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity)
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and antivirus management
• Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business software
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Knowledge of IT security practices and endpoint protection tools
• Familiarity with cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace)
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
