IT Support Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth operation of systems and networks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to support both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve IT problems in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, applications, and devices.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams for escalated issues.
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system configurations.
- Train staff on IT tools, systems, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar’s IT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support or specialist roles.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, ITIL) are an advantage.
