Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and maintaining the organization’s hardware, software, and network systems.
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations and deliver high-quality support to internal users and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, servers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across systems
- Support Windows, macOS, and commonly used business applications
- Monitor IT systems performance and ensure optimal functionality
- Assist in network maintenance, including LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and support logs
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards
- Support system updates, patches, and backups
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking
- Familiarity with Active Directory, email systems, and IT ticketing systems
- Good understanding of hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft (preferred)
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
