About This Role
Zahr Freighters is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a technology-focused professional who can ensure smooth IT operations, provide reliable technical support, and maintain system efficiency within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
- Ensure data security through backups, updates, and antivirus protection.
- Support network infrastructure and resolve connectivity issues.
- Maintain documentation of IT systems and support activities.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and system upgrades.
- Coordinate with external vendors for advanced technical support when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience with troubleshooting and system maintenance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft systems and cloud platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
