IT Helpdesk / IT Support Engineer -Hiring UAE National
About This Role
Job Purpose
Provide first-level technical support to users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Install, configure, and maintain systems and applications
User Support
- Respond to IT support requests via ticketing system, email, or phone
- Assist users with login issues, password resets, and system access
- Ensure timely resolution of user queries
System Maintenance
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and antivirus checks
- Maintain IT assets and inventory records
- Assist in system backups and data recovery processes
Documentation
- Log and track issues in the helpdesk system
- Maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps and solutions
Coordination
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience
