1. Technical Support
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Respond to support tickets and resolve issues within required timelines.
2. System Installation & Maintenance
- Install, update, and configure operating systems, applications, and antivirus software.
- Set up new workstations, user accounts, and email configurations.
- Maintain company servers, network devices, and security systems.
3. Network & Security
- Monitor internet connectivity and network performance.
- Implement IT security protocols and ensure antivirus protection is up to date.
- Identify potential security risks and escalate concerns.
4. Backup & Recovery
- Ensure regular data backups are completed.
- Assist in restoring data when required.
- Maintain backup logs and documentation.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain IT inventory records for all devices and accessories.
- Document troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and solutions.
- Prepare IT status reports when required.
6. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers for repairs, replacements, and purchase of IT equipment.
- Follow up on warranty claims, software renewals, and AMC services.
7. User Training & Support
- Guide employees on basic IT usage, security awareness, and system best practices.
- Conduct short trainings for new staff when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of IT support experience.
- Knowledge in Windows OS, networking, troubleshooting, and basic server administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
