Job Summary

Support the setup and ongoing operation of the company's Sharjah site.

Establish the site's IT environment, including computers, displays, network equipment, office technology, and control-room systems.

Provide day-to-day technical support locally and as part of the wider IT support function.

Technical Support and Deployment

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, and user-access issues.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices, printers, monitors, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with the initial site IT deployment, including workstations, control-room computers, screens, and associated technology.
  • Install and configure LAN infrastructure, switches, wireless access points, and connected devices.
  • Perform Cat6/Cat7 cabling termination, crimping, patching, and basic cable testing where required.

IT Operations

  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems to the central IT team.
  • Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Record, update, and resolve incidents and requests through service desk and ticketing processes.
  • Assist with hardware procurement, maintain asset records, and support onboarding and offboarding.
  • Perform maintenance, updates, security checks, and device configuration to company standards.
  • Provide remote support to other locations and liaise with suppliers, contractors, and technical teams.

Essential Qualifications

  • Approximately 2–3 years of IT, desktop, infrastructure, or similar technical support experience.
  • Strong Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 knowledge.
  • Experience supporting devices and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, Wi-Fi, network switching, Ethernet cabling, ticketing systems, and endpoint security.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, escalate appropriately, and communicate effectively.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Freshservice, Freshdesk, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting office, site, or infrastructure deployments.
  • Relevant Microsoft, networking, or IT support certifications.

Pay

  • Pay is AED 4,000–AED 5,000 per month.

Work Arrangement

  • Job type is full-time and permanent.
  • Work location is in person in Sharjah, UAE.
