Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary of AED 10,000, all inclusive.
Experience and skills
- Requires 4–5 years in a senior management information technology role in the luxury hospitality industry.
- Requires strong knowledge of infrastructure, including servers, networks, telecommunications, security systems, and peripheral devices.
- Requires strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organization, time-management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires business acumen and analytical skills to drive revenue and manage costs.
IT service and systems
- Prioritize guest requests and incidents; document guest and employee cases in the support desk management system.
- Resolve faults and manage service delivery, documenting incidents, requests, and resolutions.
- Monitor internal and guest-facing systems, take remedial action, and report trends in recurring issues.
- Collaborate with business users to optimize applications and develop automated processes.
Team, governance, and projects
- Manage schedules and resources to maintain support coverage; assist with recruitment and onboarding and conduct performance reviews with the Assistant Director of IT.
- Develop technical training plans and share IT knowledge and industry trends with colleagues.
- Uphold IT policies and security practices; conduct audits and awareness sessions and maintain governance and change-management protocols.
- Maintain IT asset records and securely deploy equipment and software to the hotel network.
- Manage vendors and IT implementation projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery and integration.
- Deputize for the Assistant Director of IT in their absence.
