Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission IoT hardware on-site, including cameras, biometric terminals, and edge devices.
- Set up and maintain edge computing devices such as mini-PCs and Nvidia Jetson/Orin at client facilities.
- Integrate hardware with software platforms via APIs and various communication protocols.
- Manage on-site network configuration, including VLANs, IP assignment, and device registration.
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues in live industrial environments to ensure seamless operations.
- Support drone hardware setup and payload integration as required by project demands.

Essential Requirements
- *Educational background and certifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications in IoT or hardware engineering are a plus.
- *Minimum years of experience and specific industry experience:*
- At least 2–6 years of hands-on experience in IoT hardware deployment and configuration, preferably in industrial environments.
- *Core technical skills and proficiencies required:*
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, edge computing devices, and IoT hardware integration.
- *Critical soft skills and behavioral competencies:*
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Technical Qualifications
- *Specific software, tools, and technologies:*
- Familiarity with APIs, MQTT protocols, and various edge devices such as Nvidia Jetson or mini-PCs.
- *Programming languages, frameworks, or platforms:*
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks and device configuration.
- *Industry-specific knowledge and expertise:*
- Knowledge of industrial IoT frameworks, camera systems (RTSP, ONVIF), and access control technologies.
- *Any required licenses or certifications:*
- Relevant licenses for working in hazardous environments (e.g., ATEX/IECEx) if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
- *Additional education or advanced degrees:*
- Master's degree in a related field is desirable.
- *Bonus experience or specialized skills:*
Experience
- with UWB or RTLS positioning systems and drone hardware integration is a plus.
